Position Descriptions: OriGene is looking for a sales associate to promote OriGene products at the NIH and other local assigned areas. Job duties include establishing, developing and maintaining customer relationships as well as achieving / exceeding sales quotas for NIH and assigned areas. Additional duties may include conducting laboratory technical demonstrations and participation in trade shows and conventions.
Experience: MS in Life Sciences or molecular biology. Demonstrated sales experience with biological reagents or with NIH customers is preferred but not required. Candidate will have a passion for a sales career in the biotechnology & life sciences industry and have strong communication, relationship building, listening and problem solving skills. Laboratory experience is preferred, but not required. Candidate must have valid drivers license.
Location: Candidate should reside in the Washington, DC metropolitan region (MD, DC, VA)
