This list is not exhaustive. Please review the General Resources for additional
resources. In addition, many of the organizations listed on our pages for Grants and
Fellowship offer scholarships and other funding options at the undergraduate,
graduate, and postdoc level. Professional Associations often offer
scholarships and other funding to students to help pay for undergraduate and graduate studies as well
as dissertation research.

- American Foundation for Aging Research (ug / grad / predoc. Applicants must be undergraduate, graduate, or pre-doctoral students enrolled in degree programs at colleges or universities in the US. US citizenship is not required, but students must be enrolled in a U.S. institution at the time an application is

- American Indian College Fund (ug. Specific eligibility varies by program, but all require the applicant to be

- American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Scholarship Program (ug. Students enrolled/accepted in a sonography program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs [CAAHEP].) APPLICATION DEADLINE HAS PASSED (JUNE 2007).
- American Kidney Fund Patient Scholarship Program (ug. Individuals residing in the US who have been diagnosed with Stage 3, 4 or 5 Chronic Kidney Disease, and who demonstrate financial need. Grants will be provided for college or community college education, vocational training, and special needs [e.g., Braille training]. - AmeriCorps (ug / grad. U.S. citizen, national, or legal permanent resident alien. Age requirements can vary by program, but most say you must be at least 17 years old with no maximum age.) - Anita Borg Memorial Scholarships

- Annie's Sustainable Agriculture Scholarship (ug / grad. Full time students beginning or returning to an accredited 2 or 4 year technical or college program in the U.S. Students must be focusing on
classes in the environmental studies field and have at least one more year before completing their degree. Graduate students with more

- Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund (ug. U.S. citizen, national, legal permanent resident, or a citizen of the Federated States of Micronesia, Republic of the Marshall Islands, or the Republic of Palau who is also of Asian and/or Pacific Islander ethnicity "as defined by the 2000 Census".) Scholarship nominees must be engineering or natural or applied science students [e.g. physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy, mathematics, computer science] with intentions to pursue research or advance their field upon completion of their final degrees. Students intending to pursue a practice in professional medicine are not eligible for the scholarship. However, those intending to perform biomedical research are eligible.) - British Chevening Scholarships
(grad / postdoc. In general they seek graduates with proven academic skills, established in their careers, and determined to return to their home

- Cochlear, Inc. Graeme Clark Cochlear Scholarship (ug. US citizen. Financial assistance toward a minimum of a three-year degree at an accredited university. You must be a Nucleus recipient currently completing your final year of high school, a mature aged students who has been accepted into a university course or a current university student. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic achievement and a demonstrated commitment to the Cochlear ideals of leadership and humanity. The amount awarded is at the discretion of the appropriate regional Cochlear office.) Application deadline has passed (June 2007).

- Commonwealth Scholarships and Fellowships Plan

- Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) Flagship PostGraduate Scholarships (students who are eligible to enroll in a PhD at an Australian university, and who will be working on a project which is directly relevant to a Flagship program. - Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Scholarship
Awards (ug / grad. Latino students who have a history of performing public service-oriented
activities in their communities and who plan to continue contributing in the future).
