  • American Indian College Fund (ug. Specific eligibility varies by program, but all require the applicant to be American Indian, Alaska Native or Hawaii Native with proof of enrollment or descendancy). NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR ANY FUNDING PROGRAM (August 2007).
  • American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Scholarship Program (ug. Students enrolled/accepted in a sonography program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs [CAAHEP].) APPLICATION DEADLINE HAS PASSED (JUNE 2007).
  • American Kidney Fund Patient Scholarship Program (ug. Individuals residing in the US who have been diagnosed with Stage 3, 4 or 5 Chronic Kidney Disease, and who demonstrate financial need. Grants will be provided for college or community college education, vocational training, and special needs [e.g., Braille training].   • Grad Flag! AmeriCorps (ug / grad. U.S. citizen, national, or legal permanent resident alien. Age requirements can vary by program, but most say you must be at least 17 years old with no maximum age.) Earn cash education awards in exchange for service.   • Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund (ug. Scholarship nominees must be engineering or natural or applied science students [e.g. physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy, mathematics, computer science] with intentions to pursue research or advance their field upon completion of their final degrees. Students intending to pursue a practice in professional medicine are not eligible for the scholarship. However, those intending to perform biomedical research are eligible.) In general they seek graduates with proven academic skills, established in their careers, and determined to return to their home country at the end of the program. Eligibility is based on your citizenship as the program only operates in 160 countries and you must apply to the British Council office in your country.)   • Cochlear, Inc. Graeme Clark Cochlear Scholarship (ug. US citizen. Financial assistance toward a minimum of a three-year degree at an accredited university. You must be a Nucleus recipient currently completing your final year of high school, a mature aged students who has been accepted into a university course or a current university student. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic achievement and a demonstrated commitment to the Cochlear ideals of leadership and humanity.
