The NIH Catalyst is a bimonthly publication written for and by intramural scientists to foster communication and collaboration across institutes. Each issue showcases the excellent scientific research being conducted at NIH and serves as a forum where ideas are exchanged, opinions voiced and issues examined.

The NIH Catalyst contains news and feature articles on research, policy, and related topics, reports and commentary by intramural scientists, a regular column by the Deputy Director for Intramural Research, information on special topics such as education, computer resources and research services, and a section introducing recently tenured staff and their work. Ideas for topics as well as submission of articles by NIH scientists are welcome.
