NIH Spring Research Festival

Please join us on May 7th and 8th for the NIH Spring Research Festival, which will be held in the tents on Parking Lot 10-H, just south of the NIH Clinical Center.

This two-day festival, sponsored by the Office of Intramural Training & Education (OITE), will be held in conjunction with GTP Management and includes the following:

  • Vendor/Equipment Show
    May 7th: 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
    May 8th: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

    Please register to indicate your intention to attend. (NIH only)

  • Postbac Posters (236 posters from current participants in our NIH postbac programs). Postbac IRTAs/CRTAs, members of the NIH Academy, and UGSSP Payback Scholars will participate.
    May 7th: 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

    Posters will be up the entire time that the tents are open. They will be staffed as follows:

    Odd-numbered posters: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
    Even-numbered posters: 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.
  • Clinical Research Training Program (CRTP) Posters (30 posters presented by fellows representing 23 U.S. medical schools). The CRTP is a 12-month, comprehensive (year-off) residential program designed to allow the most creative, research-oriented medical and dental students to become fully engaged in a mentored clinical or translational research project in an area that matches their personal clinical research interests and career goals.
    May 8th: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

  • Lunch
    May 8th: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

    Lunch is limited to 400 people, and registration is required. (NIH only)
