OBJECTIVE
As you begin your search for an academic job, it is important to be aware of all the aspects of a well-planned job search. In this workshop, hear an overview of what you need to do to ensure a productive academic job search.

Session 2: Job Interviews

After the application packet, the job interview is the next major hurdle to securing a position.  In this workshop, learn the "do's and don'ts" of academic job interviewing and hear a perspective on what interview committees like to see.

Session 4: Making the Move to Academia

OBJECTIVE
Congratulations, you've accepted the job! In this seminar, learn what you need to know about navigating the academic environment in your future department. You'll learn important points to consider when deciding what equipment you need to set up your lab and how to find the best people to work in your lab. Also, learn about other expectations of a junior faculty member.
