Event
Discussion for Building Resilience - Visiting Fellows
Speaker: Christina Kuo, OITE
About this event
International and multicultural trainees are a great asset to our community. We also realize that you face a unique set of issues and stresses: distance from family and home lacking a sense of belonging in your local community, learning a new culture, searching for a job can be extremely stressful, and watching world events unfold and facing the uncertainty of what the future will hold. You are not alone in dealing with these challenges. This group provides a safe space for our visiting fellows to process a wide range of stressors at work and personal life. We encourage support and collaboration from group members, and we will focus on wellness management and self-care skills as you navigate your experience at NIH.
Please join us for a discussion with OITE Wellness Advisor, Christina Kuo. The discussion group provides a welcoming and confidential space to explore positive and proactive ways to build resilience and self-care skills. Even if you can't join us for the entire hour, we encourage you to still attend.
