Your research project should be your number one priority, but there is much more to discover in the NIH Summer Internship Program. Join the staff of the Office of Intramural Training & Education for tips on making the most of your time at the NIH.

NOTE 1: If you are a new summer intern, you have two options for getting acquainted with the NIH.  If you have no research experience whatsoever, please register for one of the day-long Science Skills Summer Boot Camps.  Otherwise, please attend this one; Planning a Successful NIH Summer Internship.  

NOTE 2: Please make certain to attend any Institute- or Center-specific orientations as well.
