Nov 08, 2017

This event is recommended for: Postbacs; Graduate Students; Postdocs/Fellows.

Want to learn more about diverse career paths at the NIH?  Please join the Network of African American Fellows (NAAF) for a brown bag lunch series of informal sessions with various NIH professionals to hear more about their careers at the NIH. This month we will have a session with Dr. Merissa Baxter to discuss her career as a Staff Scientist in the National Cancer Institute.  Dr. Baxter received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Elon University, where she also minored in Chemistry, Business Administration and African/African American studies.  Please bring your lunch and learn more about Dr. Baxter's background, her current position and her advice for navigating career options.  All are welcome to attend.
