Consulting is a fast-paced and intellectually challenging field that is always seeking to hire talented Ph.D. candidates. This career requires an analytical approach to problem solving, excellent quantitative analysis skills, the ability to work in teams, great communication skills, and an interest in business. Successful consultants synthesize unstructured information into practical and meaningful insights for their clients. If you are interested in a career that allows you solve problems that matter and produces a tangible, immediate impact, then consulting may be for you.

This month's panel consists of biomedical professionals who have successfully transitioned to strategic consulting. They use their scientific knowledge and analytical abilities to develop strategies that solve their client's challenges. Panelists will discuss how to approach a consulting job search, their day-to-day job responsibilities, and what they like and dislike about the field.

This event is jointly sponsored by the NIH FelCom Career Development Subcommittee and the Fellows Consulting Club. A written summary of the session will be posted for fellows who are unable to attend.
