The NIH-SACNAS Chapter (Society for the Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science) would like to invite you to their next meeting. This meeting will focus on creating and practicing your elevator pitch.

If you have the opportunity to talk about what you do and who you are in less than five minutes, what would you say? Do you have your elevator pitch ready, or have you not thought about it yet? Please join Dr. Phil Ryan, Deputy Director of the Graduate Programs and Students Services, GPP, who will talk about how to create your elevator pitch. Learn the basic types of elevator pitches and the different components that make up a good elevator pitch. Every situation is different, and each situation requires a slightly different elevator.  Come and practice putting together the best possible elevator pitches to help network and build your professional brand.

Everyone is welcome!
