The NIH-SACNAS Chapter (Society for the Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science) would like to invite you to their February meeting. This month we will watch the film “Jim Allison: Breakthrough” while enjoying popcorn*. We’ll learn about a Jim’s journey to discover the immune system’s role in treating cancer and briefly discuss Jim Allison’s journey- the many obstacles he faced and the difficulties that are part of scientific discovery. We may need to continue the discussion in our March SACNAS Chapter Monthly Lunch (March 12th).
