Do you ever feel like you are buffeted about by life circumstances – like a leaf in the wind? Maybe you receive a word of praise from your supervisor or PI and you feel great!  But restrictions in your lab due to the pandemic really impacts your progress and you feel really down.   In both of these cases, you are "reacting vs. responding" and letting external circumstances dictate your internal state.  Equanimity is a particular internal state that allows us to not be thrown off balance by our experiences – come to Mindfulness Meditation this week to learn how to develop this state to better manage life’s ups and downs!

The Zoom link will be distributed via NIH Trainee Listservs. If you need the link immediately please email maria.gutierrez2@nih.gov
