One of the hardest lessons in life is learning how to let go.  Whether it is letting go of people, possessions, situations, feelings, thoughts, beliefs or even your own self-image, there is often an accompanying sense of loss or grief. There is a biological reason why it can be so hard to let go as any perception of “loss” can trigger reactions from the amygdala, the almond shaped sliver in the temporal lobe of your brain that serves as an early warning system for any sign of danger or threat to your survival.  But there are several reasons why learning how to let go in a mindful way can enhance your wellbeing.  Meditation can help with this - so come join us on Zoom for Mindfulness Meditation today on "Letting Go."
