We all know that taking breaks, resting, and scheduling in time away is important for our well-being. But truly doing these things without feeling like the shadow of our mounting to-do list is constantly following us can be difficult. So, we take our time away but often don’t return recharged because we spent time thinking about all that we’re not doing and all that needs to be done when we return. Disconnecting purposefully and taking time away from our work is not only important for our mental health and well-being but also for sustainability in our field. Join us for Thriving Thursday as we talk about the importance of asking for this time off and then protecting the time we are taking away from work so we can return feeling recharged. This session will be facilitated by OITE Wellness Advisor, Sara Hunter.
