Social

The GSC Social committee plans a variety of cultural and social events throughout the year. In the past we have organized social hours, trivia and game nights, bike/ hiking/ camping/ ski trips, lunches and outings at baseball and basketball games, among many others. One of our biggest events is the annual summer BBQ. Occasionally we also co-host social events with the postdoctoral or postbaccalaureate fellows. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the committee has organized a variety of virtual social events.

These events are a great way to interact with other graduate students outside of the lab and to get to know the exciting city and area we live in.
