Position Description:

A contract position with Lexical Intelligence is available for a Scientific Analyst to work at the Office of Portfolio Analysis at NIH in Bethesda, MD. The analyst will be part of a team engaged in promoting and training staff in the use of tools and methods to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis activities on large volumes of scientific information. We are looking for a self-starting team player with strong communication skills, preferably with a background in biomedical sciences or a quantitative discipline. The analyst will be able to work well with other analysts, data scientists, and software developers and should be adept at explaining technical concepts to a lay audience. Training will be provided although experience conducting data analyses using analytics software is necessary.   • Must be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance;
  • Ph.D. or Master’s degree in biomedical sciences, or other fields such as Public Health, Epidemiology, Bioinformatics, Statistics, or Economics
    Experience working with NIH (or other agency) program, policy, or review.
