Visiting Assistant Professor - Biochemist

Position Description:

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Swarthmore College invites applications for a full-time one-year appointment at the level of Visiting Assistant Professor to begin in Fall 2020. The successful candidate will participate in the biochemistry lecture and laboratory curricula as well as in general chemistry. Teaching an upper-level seminar is also anticipated, and opportunities for directing undergraduate research are available. Qualifications:

PhD is required; teaching experience preferred.  The strongest candidates will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to creative teaching that speaks to and motivates undergraduates from diverse backgrounds.
