Postdoctoral Research Scholar, Bioinformatics Research

Position Description: 

The postdoc will assist with development and execution of bioinformatic pipelines, manuscript preparation, and grant writing for Fred Wright, the director of the Bioinformatics Research Center (BRC) at North Carolina State University.  This opportunity offers multi-disciplinary training in toxicology, environmental science, genomics, bioinformatics and data science to solve problems relevant to exposure science and human health.


Position Requirements: Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate (e.g., M.D., D.V.M., Sc.D.) in appropriate field awarded no more than five (5) years from initial date of postdoctoral appointment.

Required Skills: Two years experience with R or Python.

Preferred Expertise: Experience scripting on Unix Cluster environment. Background in biology/toxicology/genetics a plus.
