Molecular Anatomy of Central Sensory Systems
Position Description:
The Molecular Anatomy of Central Sensory Systems (MACS) Laboratory is looking for a postdoctoral fellow to join the team. Studies focus on neural circuitry and mechanisms of hearing and vestibular function. The postdoctoral fellow will lead a project to investigate the influence of noise on auditory or vestibular related central pathways.
Qualifications:
Highly motivated, well organized, inquisitive candidates are sought. Experience with one or more of the following techniques is preferred: qRT-PCR, molecular genetics, MRI, microscopy.
The successful applicant will have excellent writing and statistical analysis skills. The most well-qualified applicant will be a problem solver who seeks and identifies resources to achieve project goals.
