Position Description:

A part-time ORISE fellow position (20 hours/week) is available in the Laboratory of Molecular Oncology, Division of Biotechnology Research and Review I, Office of Biotechnology Products, CDER, FDA. The ideal candidate would be a highly motivated individual with a Ph.D., 0 - 5 years of work experience, and a demonstrated record of scientific productivity. This position will be appointed from ORISE (http://orise.orau.gov/fda/). ORISE fellowships are available for U.S. citizens, non-citizens with permanent resident status, or non-citizens that are eligible for a J-1 visa and have resided in the US for at least 3 of the last 5 years for the Office of Personnel Management to be able to complete a background check.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will study bispecific antibodies and immune checkpoint inhibitors to improve the safety and efficacy of FDA-regulated products. A background in molecular and cell biology and signal transduction with expertise in common molecular and cell biology techniques is essential. Experience with antibody engineering and animal models is desirable.
