Functional Analysis of BRCA2 and its Genetic Interactors

Position Description:
The Genetics of Cancer Susceptibility Section headed by Dr. Shyam Sharan has an open post-doctoral position. The position is available immediately to perform functional analysis of breast cancer susceptibility gene, BRCA2 and its genetic interactors using mouse embryonic stem cells and knock-in mouse models.

Qualifications:
Candidates must have Ph.D. and/or M.D. or equivalent degree. A strong background in molecular biology and cancer genetics is required and knowledge of genetically engineered mouse models, DNA repair, cell cycle regulation is preferred.
