Position Description:
A postdoctoral position is available in National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), NIH, located in Bethesda, Maryland. We are seeking a postdoctoral fellow to study epigenomic regulation of transcription enhancers. We use a combination of tools, including cell biology, epigenomics (ChIP-Seq, RNA-Seq, ATAC-Seq, Hi-ChIP), bioinformatics, high-resolution imaging, CRISPR genome editing and mouse genetics, to study how enhancer epigenomic writers and enhancer-promoter looping regulate cell-specific gene induction during adipogenesis and PPAR target gene activation. Additional information can be found at:

Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in biological sciences with less than 4 years postdoctoral experience. A strong background in molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry or bioinformatics is desired. Stipend will be commensurate with experience.
