Radiation-induced Translational Control of Gene Expression and the Microenvironment

A postdoctoral position is available in the Radiation Oncology Branch, National Cancer Institute to investigate the influence of the microenvironment on the radiation-induced translational control of gene expression.  These studies will address fundamental mechanisms as well as the potential of the translational machinery to serve as targets for radiosensitization.

Qualifications: Applicants should have a recent PhD or MD/PhD in molecular biology, cancer biology or related fields with less than 2 years of relevant postdoctoral experience.
