Position Description:

A postdoctoral fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Chongyi Chen at the National Cancer Institute (NCI), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Bethesda, Maryland. The Chen lab develops novel genomic technologies and single-cell sequencing assays to characterize and study chromatin biology and gene expression regulation in human cells, with a focus on the dynamics and regulation of DNA topology genome-wide in key biological processes. We are a relatively young lab that have recently invented new genomic technologies, which open doors to many exciting projects in chromatin biology. For more info about the lab, please visit

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with strong backgrounds in molecular biology, cell biology, genomics, and related fields who are passionate and self-motivated in research. Candidates with prior experience in chromatin biology, genomics, and single-cell biology are especially encouraged to apply.
