Single-Cell RNASeq and Adaptive Immune Receptor Repertoire Analysis

Position Description:

The Integrative Bioinformatics of Immune Systems core of the Vaccine Research Center (VRC) is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to work on projects studying immune responses and vaccine development toward a range of medically important and emerging pathogens, including HIV, influenza, and SARS-CoV-2. The position will entail analyzing diverse next-generation sequencing data sets, especially bulk and single-cell RNAseq, B and T cell receptor repertoires, and immunogenetics. The successful candidate will also assist other VRC groups with experimental design, training, and data analysis, as well as help set up, develop, and maintain necessary computational infrastructure and tools for research.


Requirements for this position include experience with single-cell RNASeq analysis and demonstrated expertise in at least one major scripting language. In addition, familiarity with immunology and/or analysis of B or T cell receptor repertoires are highly desirable.
