NIH Graduate Student Research Symposium

The Symposium is the premier platform for NIH graduate students to showcase their research to their peers and to the greater NIH community. The Symposium also hosts keynote and opening talks from world-renown scientists, policymakers, and senior NIH leadership. Over 100 students present their dissertation projects during the poster session, which includes a category highlighting research proposals from students early on in their dissertation studies.  Additionally, several students are selected to present their research in the form of a short talk.  The Symposium concludes each year with a ceremony honoring GPP students who have recently graduated from their home university.
