Our resources can help you expand your professional skillset to support your success.

Here we present a structured approach to planning your NIH training experience through the lens of core competencies considered to be important in healthcare, research, and research-related careers.

The information presented here focuses on NIH OITE offerings; however, IC training offices, the NIH library, and FAES all provide many professional development opportunities.

We offer a standard set of programs each year supplemented by special offerings. Our workshops are offered-year round, in person and online, and are advertised on our upcoming events page.

There is also an extensive archive of YouTube videos, books in our library, and blog posts to help you further explore these topics.

We gratefully acknowledge the following NIH offices for supporting our programs: Office of Research on Women’s Health, Office of AIDS Research, Office of Behavioral and Social Sciences Research, and the Sexual and Gender Minority Research Office.
