The Oncogenomics Section of the National Cancer Institute Genetics Branch is now seeking a postdoctoral fellow to join our translational research program using genomics, immunopeptidomics, and immunology to develop immune therapies for pediatric cancers.
About the position
This postdoc will work on a project analyzing Ewing sarcoma tumors using short- and long-read RNA sequencing, immunopeptidomics, bioinformatics, and antigen discovery pipelines. As such, this fellow will collaborate with Center for Cancer Research cores facilities and John's Hopkin's University partners to prioritize the profiling of EWSR1::FLI1/ERG, PRAME, and non-canonical epitopes.
Our work at National Cancer Institute spans the fields of RNA biology, immunology, genomics, tumor biology, immunopeptidomics, and preclinical translation to support future clinical trials for patients with Ewing sarcoma. We are seeking postdoctoral fellows with experience or knowledge in immunogenomics, immunotherapy, and immunology. Experience in cell-based therapeutics or immunobiology is required, as this Postdoc will generate peptide-specific T cells, clone and characterize TCRs, define MHC restriction, and develop optimized TCRs against Ewing sarcoma in vitro using single-cell sequencing, immunogenomic, spatial transcriptomic, proteomic, and functional assays.
