Boys Town National Research Hospital is now inviting applications for a Postdoctoral research fellow position to conduct cancer research.
About the position
The successful candidate will be self-driven, enthusiastic, and eager to self-sufficiently implement research projects. Duties of this position include designing, implementing, and completing individual studies, accurately maintaining and organizing dedicated records, and publishing and presenting research results in journals and at national meetings. Collaborating with research colleagues and clinical staff on research problems will be critical.
Prospective fellows should be able to apply their previous training and experience and use their knowledge of relevant literature and research procedures. Strong communication abilities both oral and written, as well as the ability to work well with other professionals, will be required. Research fellows can also expect to train, supervise, and evaluate research assistants and technicians within our lab. Travel in order to attend conferences may be required.
