Postdoctoral Research Fellowship (WashU)

Our lab welcomes applicants from a variety of disciplines since our multidisciplinary faculty conduct world-leading research on a wide range of health issues. Similarly, our team also leads community education and cancer presentation efforts to improve population health in Missouri and beyond. As such, engaging community members, addressing key needs in our catchment area, and addressing cancer disparities are priorities in the work we do.

Our postdoctoral training program includes opportunities for continued learning and career development. While we welcome applicants in any relevant research area, our highest-priority fields include Cancer Control and Care Access, Community-engagement Research, Cancer Epidemiology, Intervention and Implementation Science, and Contextual Drivers of Health and Healthcare.

Lastly, Washington University offers excellent benefits. Support is available for tuition, books, software, conference travel, and research. Postdoctoral positions are partially funded by NCI grants (including T32CA190194), with an annual stipend starting at $64,380.00 renewable for up to 2-3 years of training. Mentorship and career development is also available from our vibrant cohort of faculty. Our trainees have a strong track record of winning funding and landing faculty positions after completing their postdoctoral training.

Prospective applicants should have a PhD, DrPH, MD, or other doctoral degree in a public health related discipline, and/or a doctoral degree in another discipline with a strong interest in public health research. T32 applicants are limited to United States citizens, non-citizen nationals, or individuals who are lawfully admitted for permanent residence and possess the appropriate registration requirements.
