Job

Postdoctoral Fellow

The laboratory of Dr. Brant Weinstein in the NICHD Division of Developmental Biology in Bethesda, Maryland is currently seeking postdoctoral fellows to study vascular development, angiogenesis, and lymphangiogenesis in zebrafish.

About the position

The Weinstein laboratory uses a variety of cutting-edge molecular, cellular, and genetic approaches, including transgenic modeling, microscopic imaging, and next-gen sequencing, to study the specification, patterning, and differentiation of developing blood and lymphatic vessels.

Our current research interests include endothelial specification and differentiation, the assembly of vascular networks and the cues that guide their patterning, and the morphogenesis of vascular tubes, the regulation of vascular integrity, and the isolation and molecular characterization of novel vascular-specific mutants.

Our scientific environment, institutional resources, and support for postdoctoral fellows, including stipend, are unmatched. Learn more about the Weinstein lab here.
