Job

Postdoctoral Fellow

Our laboratory, which specializes in centrosome organization and function, is now seeking a postdoctoral fellow to study the function and dysregulation of mammalian polo-like kinase 4 and 1 (Plk4 and Plk1) that are tightly linked to the development of aneuploidy and cancer.

About the position

As a postdoctoral fellow in our lab, you will use cell biological, biochemical, biophysical, and structural approaches, such as super-resolution imaging, in vitro reconstitution, X-ray crystallography, and cryo-EM, to delineate the molecular basis and structural rules that govern the centrosomal architecture and function. We encourage phd graduates with expertise in cell-biology, X-ray crystallography, and cryo-EM and a keen interest in learning about the organization, function, and relevance of centrosomes to pathophysiological disorders such as cancer and AIDS to apply. For additional information about our lab and our select publications, please visit here

This fellowship starts at $67,200 for those with no prior postdoctoral training and includes complete health insurance.
