Postdoctoral Fellow

The MDS laboratory investigates the mechanisms, diagnosis, and treatment of autoimmune muscle diseases (myositis) and other rheumatic diseases, with an emphasis on translational research that bridges basic immunology, muscle biology, and clinical investigation. Ongoing projects include studies of disease pathogenesis, autoantibodies, biomarkers, and therapeutic targets, using human samples and state-of-the-art molecular, immunologic, and genomic approaches.

Qualifications

PhD, MD, or MD/PhD in immunology, molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, computational biology, or a related biomedical field. Strong interest in autoimmune disease and/or translational research. Demonstrated productivity and excellent communication skills.
