Translational Science Training Program

An exciting opportunity for NIH Intramural Fellows to learn more about the bench-to-bedside process.

The Translational Science Training Program (TSTP), developed in collaboration with the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS), is an innovative training program that, in one course, intertwines interdisciplinary scientific content, understanding of the drug development process, professional skills development, clinical trial terminology, and career exploration.

There are two sessions offered annually, one for NIH postbacs in the fall and another for NIH graduate students and postdocs in the spring. This course takes place in-person on the Bethesda campus, with hybrid options for trainees on other campuses.
