Teaching Science in Higher Education: 2hr-Workshop
An introductory workshop that provides an overview of learning styles, teaching philosophies, and syllabus development and lays a foundation for the full-length course.
About the workshop
The goal of the Teaching Science in Higher Education Program is to help prepare NIH trainees and fellows for careers that include classroom teaching. The introductory workshop is open to all NIH trainees and fellows, and is offered twice per year in both in-person and remote formats. Taking this workshop will give priority registration to the 9-week course.
How to attend
The workshop is offered each spring and fall, and occurs virtually.
