Postdoctoral Fellowship

The Jackson Laboratory Research Institute is now seeking applications for one remaining postdoctoral appointment to our recently renewed National Institute of Aging T32 grant - 'Training Program in Precision Genetics in Neural Aging, Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias (PGAD: AG062409-06)'

About the position

The Jackson Laboratory Training Program in Precision Genetics in Neural Aging, Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias, led by Drs. Gareth Howell, Kristen O’Connell, and Meredith Theeman, is to train the next generation of scientists studying the complexity and heterogeneity of neural aging and ADRD.

Since its inception seven years ago, the PGAD-TP has provided its fellows with rigorous training and course work in the mouse-modeling of human neurodegenerative diseases, the responsible conduct of research, grant writing, scientific communication, and networking to prepare trainees for an independent research career.

Furthermore, the PGAD-TP is an active part of the Jackson Laboratory's Center for Alzheimer’s and Dementia Research that includes fifteen preceptors specializing in neural aging, ADRD, non-ADRD neurodegenerative diseases, technology development, cell modeling, and data sciences.
