Staff Clinician

The Division of Intramural Research (DIR) of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) is seeking to recruit an outstanding Staff Clinician with expertise in vascular medicine to support the Laboratory of Vascular Thrombosis and Inflammation.

About the position

The primary responsibilities with be supporting the translational and clinical research program. These responsibilities will include providing expert vascular medicine patient care, supporting research study design and execution, analyzing data, and writing manuscripts. The Vascular Thrombosis & Inflammation Program works with a wide range of independent research groups, and the position offers exceptional opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration within and outside of the NIH.

Qualifications

The successful candidate should have a strong track record of achievement, expertise and experience in the area of cardiovascular medicine. Applicants must have a medical degree (M.D., M.B.B.S., or D.O.). Salary is commensurate with clinical and research experience.
