Tenure Pathway Faculty Position (University of Vermont)

Candidates will join a dynamic and collaborative community of scientists, educators, and trainees at the University of Vermont. Our team is passionate about understanding the molecular mechanisms associated with protein structure and how its associated function impacts the molecular motors and cytoskeletal proteins involved in cell division, intracellular transport, and human health and disease.

Specially, this position is based within the Department of Molecular Physiology and Biophysics, with concurrent membership in the UVM Cancer Center. The UVM Cancer Center works to understand the molecular mechanisms involved in tumor development, tumor microenvironment interactions, tumor metastases, and tumor dormancy. As such, this is a research-focused position requiring investigation relevant to cancer biology. Applicants must have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and active, cancer-relevant, peer-reviewed research funding. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate prior and/or current success in obtaining peer-reviewed cancer-relevant funding.
