FELCOM - SERVICE & OUTREACH

The goal of the Service and Outreach Subcommittee (SOS) is to provide an opportunity for NIH fellows to work together with a common mission of giving back to the NIH and greater Washington DC communities. This subcommittee organizes group service activities that members of FelCom and other fellows can volunteer for on a regular basis, with a minimum of six activities per year. The subcommittee also seeks outreach opportunities for fellows to be involved in, such as scientific judging or involvement in high school science clubs, etc. The subcommittee provides information to fellows regarding non-group service activities that may be of interest.
