The Corbin lab in the Center for Neuroscience Research at Children’s National in Washington DC is now seeking a research technician to assist in ongoing NIH-funded research studies of brain development and function using mouse models.
About the position
The primary duties of this research technician include standard molecular, histological, and microscopic experimental approaches, analyses, and lab management. Experience with basic histology, microscopy, and mice handling is a plus but not required. This candidate will be joining a highly-collaborative and supportive lab, with exceptional state-of-the-art core facilities, renowned for strengths in animal modeling of Central Nervous System development and neurodevelopmental disorders.
The candidate will also have extensive opportunities for career development as part of a lab with a decades-long track record of research staff advancing to high-profile MD and PhD graduate programs. A minimum 1.5 year commitment required. This position will be available starting in the fall of 2026.

Qualifications
