Poster Printing Options:

  • See if your Institute or Center has a poster printer you can use.
  • You can also make an appointment with the Information Technology Center in the Clinical Center to print your poster. Do this early!  The service is free, but MANY people use it.  Printing takes approximately 30 minutes.  Maximum poster height will be either 36 or 42 inches, depending on which printer is used. The phone number is 301-402-6301.  When you call, be ready to provide your name, IC, phone number, and e-mail address.  The Center is located in Building 10, Room B1S235. Its hours are M/W/Th: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm; T: 11:00 am - 3:00 pm; F: closed.
  • The NIH Medical Arts Branch (MAB) (https://www.ors.od.nih.gov/mab/Work/Pages/poster-printing.aspx) prints posters for a fee, billable to your research group via a CAN. Make certain in advance that your research group is willing to cover the cost. Reduced-scale poster proofs - highly recommended - can also be purchased. Standard turn-around is 2-3 business days with a proof, or 1-2 business days without a proof. Posters are printed on a first-come, first-served basis. Medical Arts is located in Building 10, Room B2L103. Orders may be placed in person, by phone (301.496.3221), or online at https://orderonline.medarts.nih.gov/category_sc. Please provide your file, final size, due date, a CAN and an Administrative Officer (AO) name when you place your order.
  • For a fee places such as Staples, Kinkos, and MegaPrints will print your poster. Fees are $12/square foot for paper; $15/square foor for cloth.
